Dr Peyton Westlake (Liam Neeson) is a brilliant scientist on the verge of a breakthrough in his work on synthetic skin. However his attorney’s involvement with corrupt business man Louis Strack leads to disaster, and Westlake’s life is literally blown apart. Hideously injured, and left for dead he decides to seek vengeance, adopting a new persona, that of the Darkman.
