At Alpine University, one senior student will be awarded the prestigious Hitchcock Award for best thesis film, virtually guaranteeing the winner a film career in Hollywood. Down-to-earth documentary film student Amy Mayfield decides to submit her entry to the fierce competition, During a chance meeting with the new campus security guard, Amy is inspired by the story of an urban legend at Pendleton University, Reese's former place of employment. This gives Amy the basis for her film; 'Urban Legends’. It is only when Amy's film crew starts falling prey to fatal accidents that she questions where fiction ends and truth begins. When all the dots start to connect back to her, she realizes she must unmask the killer before she, too, becomes an urban legend.
