In the early 1960’s Jenny, an inexperienced, withdrawn, English girl, is staying with a French family on the outskirts of Paris while studying at the Sorbonne University. She meets Jean-Philippe, a handsome young architectural student. As their friendship develops, Jenny begins to experience the joys and fears of physical love for the first time. But Jenny wants proof of Jean Philippe’s sincerity. This in turn angers Jean-Philippe and their romance appears to be coming to an unhappy end...will true love find a way?
