Gigli, a Los Angeles street level debt collector, is given the task of kidnapping Brian, the mentally impaired younger brother of a Federal Prosecutor, in a scheme to blackmail Brian's brother. Ricki, a female counterpart, is foisted onto Gigli in the task of holding Brian. In the process, Gigli falls for Ricki.
