Highlander is a fantasy about a clan of immortals from Scotland who have been alive hundreds of years. The only way they die is by decapitation, and they chase each other around the world and through the centuries because the last one remaining will gain enough power to rule the world. Christopher Lambert stars as Connor MacLeod, one of the few remaining immortals. The time is 1985 and the setting is New York City. Connor is about to face Kurgan, an immortal who plans to use his power for evil. They have fought each other before, and this time they plan to finish it at a mystical "gathering". Roxanne Hart plays Connor’s modern-day love interest, who tries to support him as she struggles to believe his incredible past.
